Happy New Year from Camp Cedarbrook!
We are so grateful to God for another year—and for the reminder that summer is on its way!
Typically, this is the time of year when we select our summer spiritual theme, including our Bible verse and theme song. However, I find myself still lingering with the woman at the well from last summer. It came up again in my morning devotional today, and I was encouraged once more by the truth that God’s Word is living and active. I am continually reminded that I will never stop learning and growing in Christ. Please pray for Megan, Hannah, and me as we seek the Lord and discern our summer theme in the coming months—that it would deeply resonate with both campers and staff.
The new year is already off to the races as we work to provide the best possible camp experience this summer! Hannah is on the road more frequently, so please keep her in your prayers—and be sure to follow us on social media for updated prayer requests and important dates.
As part of our recruiting efforts, we are hosting Zoom Info Nights beginning Monday, January 26. These are a great, no-pressure opportunity for new families to meet Cedarbrook and get to know us better before summer.
We are incredibly thankful for those of you who support Camp Cedarbrook financially—especially at year-end. God is faithful and continues to meet our needs. Donation statements for 2025 tax purposes will be sent out in the next few weeks.
Please continue to pray with us in this season—for clarity as we seek God’s direction for our summer theme, for wisdom as families discern their summer plans, and for unity, joy, and the right people as we build our 2026 staff team. We are deeply grateful to walk this journey with such a faithful and prayerful Cedarbrook community.
