Summer Is Here!
We are wrapping up our first week of camper sessions, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! It has been such a joy to hear laughter echoing through camp again, see friendships forming, and watch our summer staff step into ministry with enthusiasm and care.
We have also seen God answer prayers in amazing ways. After months of asking Him to provide, we are fully staffed for the summer — including our kitchen and health services teams! What a gift and encouragement this has been.
During pre-camp, we were blessed by many volunteers who helped sustain and prepare us for the season ahead. One of those faithful volunteers was Nancy “Wally” Halliday, who served in the kitchen. When we told her we had hired the rest of our kitchen staff, she responded with Isaiah 60:22: “At the right time, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”
What a beautiful reminder that God’s timing is perfect.
