FOOD AND NUTRITION AT CAMP
WHAT ARE MEALS LIKE
Campers think the food tastes pretty good! Campers share a table with their bunk group in a family style meal. Our Kitchen Aides serve the food to each table individually. Each meal is a good balance of different food groups and we emphasize healthy food choices to the girls. We often have a salad bar and peanut butter and jelly is always available as an alternative.
We strive to offer food options to satisfy all our campers. If your daughter has food allergies, including celiac disease, gluten sensitivity, peanut allergy, etc. please remember to inform us on the health form. Feel free to contact us to have a discussion with our Food Service Manager. If your camper has food allergies, please help us by providing appropriate food substitutes. Stored in the camp kitchen, the food substitutes will be available at mealtimes. Camp menus are available upon request to help you plan your camper’s food needs.
